Industry Odisha Bureau, Aug 12: Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro is still a few weeks away from launch, but a stream of leaks have already revealed several details about what could be the company’s next major Pro upgrade. Apple is expected to unveil the new iPhone lineup in September, with the Pro models reportedly bringing changes to performance, cameras, battery life, and design.
Reportedly, the Apple iPhone 18 Pro is expected to feature Apple’s A20 Pro chipset, built using TSMC’s 2nm process. The smaller manufacturing technology could deliver better performance and improved power efficiency for gaming, AI tasks and video editing. Further, a variable aperture for its 48-megapixel main Fusion camera could also be introduced.
But that is not it! The iPhone 18 Pro lineup is also likely to receive larger batteries. The Pro Max is reportedly tipped to get a battery exceeding 5,400mAh. The regular Pro may also see an increase. Leaks also suggest that Apple may move some FaceID components under the display. This will allow the Dynamic Island to become smaller. Display sizes are also expected to remain around 6.3 inches for the Pro and 6.9 inches for the Pro Max.
Rumored colour options include Dark Cherry, Light Blue, Dark Gray, and Silver. Apple could also modify the Camera Control Button. Speaking about prices, the iPhone 18 Pro could reportedly start at around 1.54 lakh rupees in India. This is about Rs 20,000 more than the original price of iPhone 17 Pro. However, it is to be noted that Apple is yet to launch any of these details officially.
