Industry Odisha Bureau, Oct 22: Bajaj Auto has launched the Pulsar N250SS in India at Rs 1,59,406 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The updated motorcycle gets a four-valve engine, a six-speed gearbox, an Electronic Throttle Body (ETB) with ride modes and a 5-inch TFT display that supports Google Maps mirroring.
The Pulsar N250SS produces 25bhp and 22Nm of torque, compared with 24.5bhp and 21.5Nm on the existing N250. The increase in output is marginal, while the six-speed gearbox replaces the five-speed unit offered on the outgoing model. The changes update both the motorcycle’s engine configuration and transmission.
The new Electronic Throttle Body is paired with selectable ride modes, which operate alongside the existing ABS modes. The revised instrument console is another key addition, replacing the LCD unit with a 5-inch TFT screen. Google Maps mirroring allows navigation information to be displayed on the instrument cluster, reducing the need to check a separate device while riding.
Bajaj has also added a Sports Shifter, adjustable levers and a USB Type-C charging port. The motorcycle features Panic Brake Alert and a hazard switch, expanding its convenience and safety equipment. These additions complement the display and throttle updates, giving the new variant a broader set of rider-focused features.
The upgrades focus on power delivery, gear selection and onboard technology, while the model remains part of Bajaj’s Pulsar N250 line-up in the quarter-litre motorcycle segment.
The Bajaj Pulsar N250SS is priced at Rs 1,59,406 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
