Industry Odisha Bureau, Aug 28: Samsung has launched the Galaxy S26 FE, the latest Fan Edition smartphone in its Galaxy S26 series. The phone brings several flagship style features at a lower price and includes a triple rear camera setup, a large battery and wireless charging.
The Galaxy S26 FE has a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,900 nits of peak brightness. It also has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
The smartphone is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chipset, built on a 3nm process. It comes with 8GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB, 256GB, 512GB.
For cameras, the phone gets a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 12MP ultra wise camera and an 8MP telephoto camera with OIS. The telephoto lens supports 3x optical zoom and up to 30x digital zoom. A 12MP front camera is included for selfies and video calls.
The Galaxy S26 FE packs a 4,900 mAh battery with 45W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. It runs One UI 9 based on Android 17.
Speaking of colour options, the phone will be available in Blueberry, Graphite, and Pistachio colours. It measures 161.6 x 76.9 x 7.4 mm and weighs about 193 grams. The Galaxy S26 FE starts at EUR 799 for the 8GB + 128GB model. Sales will begin in select markets on September 4. Samsung is yet to announce the Phone’s release and pricing options in India.
