Industry Odisha Bureau, Sept 21: Reliance Jio is offering eligible JioHome users a free one-year Amazon Prime Lite subscription as part of its 10th anniversary celebrations.
The offer is available on select JioHome plans with 30 Mbps and 100 Mbps internet speeds. Amazon Prime Lite provides access to Prime Video and fast, free delivery on eligible Amazon purchases.
Eligible new and existing customers can activate the benefit through the MyJio app. A banner will appear on the JioHome account homepage. This will allow users to claim the subscription. The rollout, notably, began on September 19 and will take place in phases over two weeks. The 12-month subscription period will start after activation.
However, customers using the Rs 888 and Rs 1,199 JioHome plans, as well as offering speeds of 150 Mbps or higher, will retain their existing 24-month Amazon Prime Lite benefit.
Jio also offers Canva benefits
In a separate news, Jio has partnered with Canva to provide eligible customers with premium design tools for up to 12 months.
Customers recharging with the Rs 399 plan can access Canva Pro, while those using the Rs 349 plan can receive Canva Pro Lite.
Further, the Canva offers include premium templates, photos, videos, and fonts. Canva Pro also provides tools such as Background Remover, Magic Eraser, and AI-powered design features. Users can claim the subscription through the MyJio app at no additional cost.
