Industry Odisha Bureau, Sept 30: In a latest update, Flipkart has revealed major discounts on the iPhone 17 and iPhone 15, ahead of its Big Billion Days sale. Additional bank and exchange benefits are set to lower the effective prices further.
The iPhone 17 256GB model is currently priced at Rs 99,000 in India. It will be available for Rs 84,999 on Flipkart during the sale. This comes as a flat discount of Rs 15,000, even without any bank offer or exchange deals.
Further, eligible customers can get another Rs 2,000 off when paying with an ICICI Bank or Axis Bank credit card. At the same time, Flipkart is also offering an exchange bonus of Rs 3,000. Both the benefits combined, the effective price falls down to Rs 79,999.
The deal is notable because the iPhone 17 originally launched in India at Rs 82,900 before Apple increased its price by Rs 17,000. Therefore, the combined Flipkart sale price brings the phone below its original launch price.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 will also get a significant price cut during the sale. Flipkart has teased the older model at Rs 67,999, compared with its official price of Rs 74,900. This amounts to a flat discount of Rs 6,901.
Additional offers include a 5% cashback of up to Rs 3,400 on Flipkart Axis Bank and Flipkart SBI credit card transactions, and an exchange bonus of Rs 3,000. The advertised effective price can therefore fall to Rs 61,599 for eligible buyers.
The much-awaited Flipkart Big Billion Days is set to begin on October 9. Eligible Flipkart Plus, Black and credit card users will get early access from October 8. Other smartphones, including the Samsung Galaxy S25, are also expected to receive sale offers.
