Industry Odisha Bureau, Sept 16: Flipkart has announced the dates for its Big Billion Days Sale 2026, with the festive shopping event set to begin on October 9 in India. The e-commerce platform has also launched a dedicated microsite highlighting bank offers, cashback and other deals planned for the sale.
Flipkart Plus, Flipkart Black and Flipkart Credit Card members will get early access to the sale from October 8. This is one day before it opens to other customers. The company is expected to offer discounts across electronics and other categories during this event.
According to Flipkart’s microsite, customers can get up to 10 percent instant discount when using eligible Axis Bank and ICICI Bank cards. The Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card will also offer 10 percent savings. In addition, Super Money by Flipkart will also provide 10 percent cashback on the first transaction.
Flipkart has not yet revealed product specific discounts, but the sale is expected to cover smartphones, laptops, PCs, TWS earbuds, washing machines, refrigerators, smart home products and smartwatches.
For smartphone buyers, Apple’s recently launched iPhone 18 Pro series could be among the products to watch during the sale. Older models such as the iPhone 16 and iPhone 18 may also receive discounts or other offers.
Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series could similarly see promotional offers. However, specific price cuts have not been announced yet. Notably, the smartphone pricing could also be influenced by the ongoing global memory supply situation.
Flipkart is expected to reveal more product wise deals closer to the sale. The Flipkart Big Billion Days Sale will begin with early access for eligible members on October 8, followed by the wider sale from October 9.
