This came after researchers and open source intelligence (OSNIT) experts came with a warning. The Centre has approved the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) proposal to conduct a field trial of Rs 10 and Rs 20 polymer currency notes. This will allow users to create custom images directly from satellite, aerial and 3D maps. The feature is now available globally on Google Earth for the web. A nationwide ICMR study reports that all four dengue virus serotypes are circulating simultaneously across eight states and Union Territories. Researchers say the findings are significant as India prepares to roll out its first indigenous dengue vaccine. ICMR-National Institute of Virology (NIV), Pune conducted the study. It analysed 6,889 laboratory confirmed dengue samples collected through 45 Virus Research and Diagnostic Laboratories.
