Industry Odisha Bureau, Sep 03: The financial assistance under ‘CM-Kisan’ (Rabi 2026-27) scheme by the Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment, Government of Odisha, will be transferred tomorrow.
This special event will be held at the OUAT Krushi Sikshya Sadan in Bhubaneswar, where the financial assistance will be provided at the hands of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi.
Through this scheme, more than 41 lakh small, marginal, Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG) and landless farmer families of the state will be directly benefited. More than Rs 833 crore of financial assistance will be provided directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries through DBT, which will make the farmers of the state financially self-reliant and encourage them in agricultural activities.
In the state-level program, Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment Shri Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo along with other dignitaries will participate. At the district-level programs, other ministers of the government will join and disburse the CM-Kisan installment.
