Industry Odisha Bureau, Oct 08: Suzuki Motorcycle India has introduced a new dual-tone black and grey colour option for the V-Strom SX adventure-tourer. Priced at Rs 2,02,118 (ex-showroom), the motorcycle gets the new shade along with revised graphics. Meanwhile, its mechanical setup remains unchanged.
The new Glass Sparkle Black + Metallic Matte Fibroin Gray colour joins three existing options. These including, Champion Yellow No. 2 + Glass Sparkle Black, Pearl Glacier White + Metallic Matte Stellar Blue and Glass Sparkle Black.
The V-Strom SX continues with its 249cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine. It notably produces 26.5 bhp at 9,300 rpm and 22.2 Nm of torque at 7,300 rpm. It uses Suzuki’s Oil Cooling System (SOCS) and Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) technology.
For touring, the motorcycle gets a 19-inch front wheel, 17-inch rear wheel and 205mm of ground clearance. Dual-channel ABS, LED lighting, a Bluetooth-enabled digital instrument cluster with Suzuki Ride Connect, USB charging, a windscreen, knuckle covers and a rear carrier are also offered.
Suzuki is also offering an assured Rs 5,000 Rynox voucher with the purchase of the V-Strom SX. Customers can opt for loans of up to 100% of the motorcycle’s value, with interest rates starting at 6.99%, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
Meanwhile, the company is conducting the second edition of the V-Strom SX Expedition to Ladakh from September 29 to October 9. The ride, flagged off from Delhi, covers Leh, Nubra Valley, Pangong Tso and Hanle.
Suzuki also organises V-Strom Experience Day events for customers to experience the motorcycle’s touring and handling capabilities.
