Investors are likely tracking corporate updates disclosed after Friday’s market hours closed. These span hospitality, pharmaceuticals, automobiles, entertainment, engineering, agriculture and electric-vehicle sectors broadly. Announcements included fresh orders, regulatory inspections, government incentives, acquisitions and stake transfers.
The Nifty 50 closed Friday’s session 0.35% higher at 24,175 points overall. The Sensex gained 0.43% that day, finishing the session at 77,261 points. Technology stocks led the recovery, buoyed by upbeat Nvidia and Salesforce outlooks. Both benchmark indices nonetheless extended their weekly losing streak to three weeks.
Royal Orchid Hotels has begun seeking a discotheque licence for its Bengaluru property. The property sits along Golf Avenue near HAL Airport Road, adjoining KGA Golf Course. Cupid’s board approved in-principle plans for a South African manufacturing venture with a partner. Cupid would hold up to 49%, with local shareholders holding the remainder. PVR INOX recently opened a six-screen cinema seating 949 people in Bengaluru. Its network now spans 1,786 screens across 356 properties in 113 cities.
Mahindra & Mahindra expanded its Battery-as-a-Service programme across its electric Origin lineup. The lineup includes the BE6 SPORTEQ, XEV 9S and XEV 9e models. Customers can buy the BE6 SPORTEQ starting at ₹11.45 lakh under it. The programme sets battery usage costs at roughly ₹3.75 per kilometre driven.
The US FDA completed inspecting an API facility run by Aptitoria Pharma. Aptitoria, Aurobindo Pharma’s subsidiary, operates Unit-VI in Andhra Pradesh, company records show. The inspection ended with three observations the company called procedural in nature. KP Green Engineering secured fresh orders worth ₹258 crore across multiple projects. Its cumulative order intake for the current financial year reached ₹497.64 crore. Dhanuka Agritech incorporated a wholly owned Irish subsidiary named Dhanuka Agritech Europe. Ola Electric received a ₹95.81 crore sanction order under the PLI scheme. This marks the company’s third consecutive year securing such automotive government incentives.
Axiscades Technologies’ board approved acquiring a 90% stake in Cloud Wave Technologies. The Bengaluru-based precision-engineering firm was valued at roughly ₹260 crore enterprise value. Axiscades will pay approximately ₹234 crore in cash for that acquired stake. Patel Engineering recently completed transferring its entire 32% stake in ACP Tollways. The buyers, APCO Infratech and others, collectively paid ₹55 crore for it.
