Amid the scepticism and caustic comments of critics against the “untimely loss of form”, Arsenal’s unruffled midfielder Declan Rice reportedly lays stress on his team’s improvement so that they could clinch the “title-defining” clash with Manchester (Man) City.
Report in news portal Wion said, “Arsenal have spluttered in recent weeks, losing the League Cup final against City, suffering a shock FA Cup quarter-final defeat against second tier Southampton and crashing to a damaging loss against Bournemouth in the top-flight”.
It added, “Even Arsenal’s progress to the Champions League semi-finals came with an asterisk after they laboured to a nervy goalless draw that secured a 1-0 aggregate victory against Sporting Lisbon on Wednesday”.
Admitting that Arsenal leaders have committed “too many errors” of late, the straightforward midfielder Rice reported stated that their football team has to perform better than they had been against Bournemouth and Sporting.
