Industry Odisha Bureau, Oct 12: Apple has introduced a festive edition of the AirPods 5 in India, featuring a custom rangoli engraving on its Wireless Charging Case. The limited-edition model retains the features of regular earbuds, while the new design celebrates a traditional Indian art form.
Alongside the launch Apple has also announced festive offers on select products. These include iPhones, Macs, iPads and AirPods.
The special edition AirPods 5 comes with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). Notably, Apple claims that this is up to 1.5 times more effective than the previous generation. The earbuds also feature next-generation Adaptive EQ for improved sound quality.
Their open-ear design is intended to provide comfort during extended use. The earbuds also support Live Translation, powered by Apple Intelligence. However, language availability remains limited.
Other features include a force sensor with a swipe gesture for volume adjustment. The Wireless Charging Case offers up to 22 hours of battery life with ANC enabled. It also includes a built-in speaker that helps users locate it through Apple’s Find My service. The case supports charging through an Apple Watch charger or a Qi-compatible wireless charger.
The festive edition AirPods 5 with Wireless Charging Case is priced at Rs 17,900 in India. Apple says that the product will be available in limited quantities through its online store, The Apple Store app and six retail locations across the country.
These will include Apple BKC and Apple Borivali in Mumbai, Apple Saket and Apple Noida in Delhi-NCR, Apple Hebbal in Bengaluru and Apple Koregaon Park in Pune.
Apple is also offering up to six months of no-cost EMI and up to Rs 4,000 in instant cashback on AirPods purchases made using eligible cards. The company’s festive offers are scheduled to run from October 11 to November 11, 2026.
