Industry Odisha Bureau, Sept 16: Jio has partnered with Canva to offer eligible users in India up to 12 months of Canva Pro or Canva Pro Lite at no additional cost. The offer is scheduled to go live today, on September 12, 2026. Notably, the subscription will depend on the user’s eligible Jio recharge plan.
Users on the Rs 399 Jio plan will get Canva Pro. Meanwhile, those on the Rs 349 plan and eligible 2GB/day plans above Rs 349 will receive Canva Pro Lite. According to Jio and Canva, the offer is worth up to Rs 4,000/
Eligible users can claim the subscription through the My Jio app by locating the Canva offer and activating it. The companies said there are no additional charges for the eligible subscription.
Canva Pro provides access to premium templates, photos, videos, and fonts, along with tools such as Background Remover, Magic Eraser and AI powered creative features. Canva Pro lite also includes premium design assets, background removal and magic eraser, but has fewer advanced features.
For instance, Pro Lite offers a basic Brand Kit with up to three kits, while Canva Pro supports up to five advanced Brand Kits. The full Pro plan also includes features such as Content Planner, Magic Resize and higher AI usage limits.
The partnership is aimed at helping users create social media posts, presentations, school projects, marketing material and festival greetings from their phones. Canva is also highlighting support for Hindi and other Indian languages.
Eligible Jio customers can start claiming the 12-month Canva subscription from September 16 through supported Jio recharge channels.
