Industry Odisha Bureau, May 11: Barca [Football Club (FC) Barcelona] on Sunday reportedly got adorned with the prestigious La Liga championship crowned in El Classico after securing a 2-0 victory over their arch rival Real Madrid.
The triumph has reportedly placed Barca (FC Barcelona) atop the Spanish domestic table as the team has reportedly “secured its 29th Spanish League title”.
As per media reports, Barca’s player Marcus Rashford’s “remarkable opener marked the first goal, while teammate Feraan Torres followed the suit 10 minutes later by doubling Barca’s goals to 2-0”.
In his media reactions soon after the triumphant moment, Barca midfielder Frenkie de Jong said, “This title is more special for winning it at home against Madrid, now we have to enjoy it with the fans.”
“We have been the best team in Spain — of course we (also) want to win the Champions League, that’s the objective,” beamed the Barca midfileder.
Falling two goals behind, opponent Real Madrid reportedly tried its level best, but to no avail since Real Madrid’s fighter footballers’ concerted efforts reportedly turned futile by missing a host of chances in front of the goalpost.
It has been reported to be Real Madrid’s “second straight trophy-less season”, while “Real Madrid has ironically carved a niche being 36-time champions earlier by having won their first ever title in 1932 after a draw with Barca”.
