Bhubaneswar, 23rd December 2025: Vedanta Aluminium, India’s largest producer of aluminium, strengthened its commitment to grassroots sports by distributing sports kits to over 1000 youth in the Jamkhani, Ghogharpalli and Kuraloi regions in Odisha. This initiative aims to promote sporting activities and nurture a culture of sportsmanship within local communities.
As part of the programme, sports kits for football, cricket, volleyball, badminton, carrom, and yoga mats were handed over to sports clubs and schools across 25 villages. Alongside the kit distribution, community-level football and cricket tournaments are regularly organised, providing young players with a structured platform to compete, build teamwork, and develop their athletic skills.
