Bhubaneswar, Feb 23 (PTI) The Odisha Government has received only Rs 10,727.52 crore Central grants against the estimated amount of Rs 41,591.73 crore till January of the current financial year 2025-26. Bhubaneswar, Feb 21: The latest data released by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MC&I), has shown that eight core sectors of India have reportedly recorded a ‘cumulative growth of 4 per cent’ in January of 2026.’ The MC&I data stated that the growth has been an outcome of “surge in steel and cement output.” The data also shows that the cement output ‘rose significantly by 10.7% year-on-year’ and attributed to an increase in construction activities. Bhubaneswar, February 20: In a major move to boost industrialization in the State, the BJP Government has approved a total of 14 industrial projects with Forest Direct Investment (FDI) of Rs 3271.11 crore, Industries Minister Sampad Chandra Swain informed in Assembly today. In a written statement to the Assembly, the Industries Minister said the Single Window Clearance Authority has approved the 14 FDI projects during the last 19 months.
