Industry Odisha Bureau, Jul 15: Leading American multinational technology company Apple has reportedly released its iOS 27 public beta featuring the new Siri AI and enhanced Apple Intelligence tools, while iOS 27’s final public release is reportedly expected in September this year coinciding with launch of the iPhone 18 series.
As per international media reports, “The iOS 27 public beta was available as of July 13–14, 2026 allowing anyone enrolled in the Apple Beta Software Program to download and test the update on compatible devices, including iPhone 11 and newer, and iPhone SE (2nd generation and later).”
The international media reports added, “The headline feature of iOS 27 is Siri AI, a next-generation assistant powered by Apple Intelligence”, while the key capabilities include:
“Conversational Context: Siri AI can maintain ongoing conversations, remember context between requests, and respond without repeating prior information
Onscreen Awareness: It can interpret content on your screen and perform actions in supported apps, such as Messages, Mail, Notes, and Calendar
Visual Intelligence: Integrated into the Camera app, Siri AI can identify objects, scan barcodes, and create Wallet passes or calendar events from flyers
Dedicated Siri App: Stores conversation history, syncs privately via iCloud, and allows users to continue chats across devices
Voice Customization: Users can adjust Siri’s pace and expressiveness, with advanced voice features requiring iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, or iPhone Air”.
The international media reports further informed that, “Beyond Siri AI, iOS27 introduces ‘Apple Intelligence Across Apps’, ‘Performance Improvements’, ‘Liquid Glass Refinements’, ‘Screen Time and Parental Controls’, and ‘Camera and Visual Tools’.”
