Industry Odisha Bureau, Jun 14: Hyderabad Banjara Hills-based renowned Indian Pharmaceutical Company Dr Reddy’s Laboratories reportedly announced yesterday that it has launched a generic cancer drug named ‘Bosutinib Tablets (400mg)’ in the United States of America (USA).
The company reportedly claimed that the “first-to-market launch” of its generic cancer medicine is “equivalent of Pfizer subsidiary Wyeth’s cancer drug Bosulif.”
Reportedly, Dr Reddy’s in its official statement also stated, Bosutinib Tablets (400mg) was a first-to-file product and thus eligible for 180-days of generic drug exclusivity for this strength.”
Dr Reddy’s also reportedly informed that the latest generic cancer drug’s “exclusive marketing rights in the USA rest with it, while the drug has been developed and manufactured in collaboration with Hyderabad-based another generic drugmaker MSN Laboratories.”
