Bhubaneswar, March 19: While world-acclaimed soccer star Lionel Messi carved a niche in the history of football by reaching the milestone of making an incredible 900-goal mark reportedly yesterday (March 18), his team Inter Miami intriguingly got out of the CONCACAF Champions Cup.
Notably, the Argentine footballer is the second such remarkable player behind Portuguese soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo who has already scored 959 goals to his personal credit.
As per media reports, Messi made the 900-goal mark while representing the Major League Soccer (MLS) club Inter Miami in the CONCACAF Champions Cup against his rival team Nashville FC though on the contrary Nashville FC reportedly advanced to the quarter finals (QFs) on the goal basis.
