Industry Odisha Bureau, Oct 19: Audi has launched the new-generation Q3 in India at an introductory starting price of Rs 51.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The luxury SUV is available in two variants, Nova and Zenith. Both the variants feature a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and quattro all-wheel drive.
The 1,984cc, four-cylinder TFSI engine produces 204bhp between 4,500rpm and 6,000rpm and 320Nm of torque between 1,500rpm and 4,400rpm. Paired with a permanent quattro all-wheel-drive system, the SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in 7.1 seconds. It can also reach a claimed top speed of 229kmph.
Both variants feature comfort suspension, progressive steering, Audi drive select and a panoramic sunroof. Exterior highlights include LED lighting, illuminated Audi rings at the rear and five colour options. These including the Mythos Black, Tambora Grey, Navarra Blue, Sage Green and Glacier White.
The Nova variant gets 18-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels and LED headlights plus with high-beam control. The Zenith features 18-inch five-arm aero alloy wheels with a black gloss-turned finish and digital matrix LED headlights. Both versions also get configurable daytime running light signatures, LED rear lights pro, heated and electrically adjustable exterior mirrors, and acoustic glazing for the front windows.
Inside, the Q3 features a 12-inch Audi virtual cockpit plus digital instrument cluster. It also features a 12-inch navigation and infotainment system with MMI touch response. Wireless smartphone connectivity, inductive phone charging, electrically adjustable heated front seats, driver-seat memory, four-way lumbar support and ambient lighting are standard.
The Nova gets aluminium inlays, a multifunction leather steering wheel and a 10-speaker, 260W Audi sound system.
Both variants offer three-zone automatic climate control, park assist plus, a reversing camera, an electrically operated tailgate, a convenience key and USB charging ports for front and rear passengers. The Zenith also gets additional lighting functions and higher-capacity USB interfaces.
