Industry Odisha Bureau, Sep 11: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi concluded his official visit to the United Arab Emirates with a series of high-level engagements aimed at drawing global investment and strengthening the state’s international partnerships.
The delegation’s itinerary was coordinated by Industries Minister Sampad Swain, Chief Secretary Anu Garg, and Additional Chief Secretary (Home, Industries, and Information & Public Relations) Hemant Sharma, whose planning enabled substantive interactions between state officials and global business leaders throughout the tour.
In the visit’s final leg, Chief Minister Majhi held one-on-one meetings with leading industrialists, using the sessions to showcase Odisha’s natural resource base, infrastructure capabilities, and policy environment for long-term investment.
At the Odisha Investors Meet held in the UAE, the state delegation presented its industrial landscape to an audience of international business leaders, spotlighting investment-ready sectors, forward-looking industrial policies, and simplified regulatory processes designed to attract capital into both established and emerging industries.
The Chief Minister closed out his engagements with a meeting with members of the Odia diaspora in the UAE, thanking them for elevating Odisha’s global profile and calling on them to continue contributing to the state’s cultural and economic growth.
