Industry Odisha Bureau, May 15: Even though former US CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) psychic spy Retired Major Ed Dames reportedly breathed his last in March this year at the age of 76, but he has reportedly prophesied decades ago that a solar catastrophe likely to be playing havoc on Earth in the current year (2026).
As per media reports, the ex-CIA psychic spy had warned in an interview of October 2025 that, “Killshot sequence will begin with the Solar Maximum. Mysterious Comet C/2023 A3 will also contribute to the solar apocalyptic disaster causing chaos in shape of abject failure to communication systems and power grids resulting in a nightmare scenario on Earth acting a catalyst for violence and disease across the world rendering governments abysmally helpless.”
Media reports added, the ex-CIA psychic spy has also highlighted in his earlier interviews about “Solar Cycle 25 being the dangerous period for Earth,” and has further claimed, “Solar radiation would be unprecedented.”
In this context, when the ‘Meteoagent’ forecast app for solar flares and geomagnetic storms was browsed, its portal has mentioned, “Solar flares occur when the Sun’s magnetic field lines become stressed and break, causing massive explosions of energy. These explosions release charged particles—mainly protons and electrons—that hurtle through space at extremely high speeds. When the particles collide with Earth’s magnetic field and atmosphere, they create various effects: colorful auroras, radio blackouts, satellite disruptions, and even power grid failures.”
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)’s Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC) in its official website’s homepage has also the Sun’s Extreme Ultra Violet (EUV) updates, and accordingly the January 19, 2026 data indicates: “NOAA’s GOES-19 satellite measurements show the ongoing solar radiation storm has intensified to Severe (S4) on the NOAA Space Weather Scales, and it is still increasing.”
‘The Science Times’ website when browsed has clearly mentioned about the “Solar Maximum 2026” and also the “Solar Cycle 25”.
As mentioned in this website, “Solar Maximum in 2026 is nearing. It is approaching a dramatic and scientifically rich phase, and astronomers are watching the Sun more closely than at any point in the current sunspot cycle. During this period, the Sun’s magnetic activity intensifies, driving more sunspots, solar flares, and coronal mass ejections than usual.”
On the “Solar Cycle 25”, the same website has mentioned, “Solar Cycle 25 has already shown signs that the Sun is near or at its peak level of activity. The presence of high sunspot numbers, frequent flares, and consistent geomagnetic disturbances suggests that the Sun is in the maximum phase and may sustain elevated activity into 2026.”
