Industry Odisha Bureau, Sep 08: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Tuesday left for United Arab Emirates (UAE) where he will hold roadshow to woo global investors.
It is Odisha’s second international investment outreach, which reinforcing the State Government’s efforts to expand Odisha’s global investment footprint and build stronger international economic partnerships.
The UAE visit comes as part of Odisha’s continued engagement with global investors and business communities to showcase the State’s growing industrial capabilities, investment opportunities and investor-friendly ecosystem.
Before leaving for UAE, the Chief Minister in a X post, said, “Odisha is emerging as a preferred destination for global investment. With a strong focus on EoDB , investor confidence, enabling policies and faster project execution, we are creating an ecosystem where businesses can invest, grow and thrive. Our vision is clear: to make Odisha the first choice for investors seeking opportunity, stability and sustainable growth. Today, we take this message to the UAE and strengthen our engagement with global investors and industry leaders.”
International outreach has emerged as an important component of Odisha’s strategy to connect directly with global businesses, understand emerging investment priorities and create partnerships that can contribute to long-term industrial development.
With its strategic location, strong infrastructure, abundant natural resources, skilled workforce and evolving industrial ecosystem, Odisha offers significant opportunities for global businesses looking to establish or expand their presence in India.
The State’s strengths across manufacturing, metals and downstream industries, energy, petrochemicals, aluminium, logistics, food processing and emerging sectors provide a strong foundation for international investment partnerships.
The three-day UAE outreach will focus on strengthening government-to-business and business-to-business engagement, facilitating investment conversations and presenting Odisha’s industrial and economic potential to leading investors, institutions and the Indian business community in the region.
