Industry Odisha Bureau, Jun 11: Evincing its growth as well as strengthening further its presence in major sporting events along with ensuring extensive coverage for the cricket fans in India, the Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (ZEE) has reportedly won the exclusive broadcast rights for airing the upcoming T20I between India and Zimbabwe in July this year.
As per media reports, “The T20I India vs. Zimbabwe series will be aired live on Unite8 Sports 1 and Unite8 Sports 1 HD in Hindi, as well as on Unite8 Sports 2 and Unite8 Sports 2 HD in English.”
It has also been reported that, “ZEE has secured exclusive broadcast rights for the FIFA World Cup 2026 in India. It will cover both TV and digital streaming through Zee5. The deal, valued between $30 million and $35 million, includes rights for the tournament’s entire duration through 2034, including the 2027 Women’s World Cup. FIFA World Cup 2026 matches will be available on Unite8 Sports channels ensuring comprehensive coverage for Indian football fans.”
