Industry Odisha Bureau, Aug 8: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Saturday visited the Haier company in Noida.
During the visit, he interacted with company officials and technicians and reviewed the manufacturing process and systems.
The CM inspected the leading electronic company’s different units and held discussions with senior executives. Majhi also learnt how such units are functioning, its employment opportunities and other details, officials said.
Taking to social media site X, the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) said, “The visit reflects Odisha’s commitment to fostering industrial growth, strengthening industry collaboration and creating new opportunities for investment, while advancing the State’s vision of a stronger and globally competitive industrial ecosystem.”
He was accompanied by Industries, Skill Development & Technical Education Minister Sampad Chandra Swain, Chief Secretary Anu Garg, and other senior officials of the State Government.
The Odisha Government’s investment outreach programme has given special emphasis on Food Processing and Metal Downstream sectors.
